White Chocolate Chip Cookies
White chocolate chip cookies are an oh-so-sweet and slightly crunchy cookie while satisfying the chocolate craving at the same time.

You will need 2 sticks of butter, softened.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Grease cookie sheets (at least two) and set aside.
Your Cookie Ingredients
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 eggs, room temperature
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups unsifted flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups (one 11-ounce bag) Ghirardelli Classic White Chocolate Chips
- 1 1/2 cups Macadamia nuts, chopped (optional)
Now Make the Batter
Cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until the batter appears fluffy.
Add the vanilla. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing after each addition, until the batter is well blended.
Blend in flour, baking soda, and salt and mix again until all ingredients are well blended.
Drop by teaspoon onto cookie sheets.
Bake for 10-12 minutes.

The cookies in the photo above were rolled into little balls by hand, which produced a somewhat uniformly round and nicely shaped cookie.
The photo below shows what the cookies will look like if you simply use teaspoons to put them onto the cookie sheet in no apparent shape.
